The HKAA dormitory was built in 1997 and has a maximum capacity of 228 students. It has three floors and is separated in the middle to divide the boys and girls. Rooms have either 4 beds or 3 beds. Each room has it's own air-con unit and a view of either the center campus or the lush green jungle that surrounds HKAA.
Dorm students have access to all the facilities on campus including the gymnasium, fitness center, soccer field, library, multi-purpose room, outdoor volleyball/tennis court, and outdoor basketball court.
The cafeteria is open to dorm students 365 days a year serving healthy vegetarian meals 3 times a day. We believe that a vegetarian diet is not only better for the environment but also better for the human body.
The dormitory is available to students in grades 7-12. Students may choose to live in the dormitory for 5 days or 7 days.

Mr. Jeriel Chuah
Mr. Chuah enjoys traveling, snowboarding, and playing basketball with his friends and students. He was born in Hong Kong, but he lived in the US for approximately ten years. This gave him a unique perspective, understanding, and appreciation of Chinese and American cultures.
After completing his education at Andrews University, Jerial served in the HKAA marketing department when HKAA was at its infancy. Then he began serving as the dormitory dean for the HKAC/HKAA. He has been in that position since 2014.
One of Jeriel’s joys is seeing residents challenge themselves while growing and becoming better persons. Students come into the dormitory as strangers, but they leave as friends.
Jeriel has found that the students who embrace dormitory life find many opportunities to lead and serve in their community. Because they come from diverse backgrounds, their worldview is enriched, and they learn to appreciate, respect, and work with people of different backgrounds. This ultimately prepares them to become positive contributors to our global community.
Ms. Kat Ma
Ms. Ma was born in Hong Kong and has been serving as the Girl’s Dorm Dean for the past 5 years. Ms. Ma enjoys seeing the dorm students call this place their second home. She also loves to invite residents to come into her home to cook together and enjoy delicious food. Especially, the 7 day boarders that don't have an opportunity to go home on the weekends.
Ms. Ma earned her degree from Walla Walla University in Washington State USA and finished her PGDE at Hong Kong University. She has been working in education in different capacities for the past 20 years.
She loves witnessing the students make friends that last a lifetime, and seeing a change in character as they learn and grow in this safe and caring Christian environment.
She says residents of the dormitory will learn to be independent, and manage their time and study in a routine lifestyle. Dorm students will learn important life skills, as well as live and respect one another with different family and culture backgrounds.
Ms. Ma strongly believes that living in the dorm will be a valuable and memorable experience for students from all walks of life.
