The Seventh-day Adventist church operates over 8,500 schools and universities and is the second-largest private education provider worldwide.
As a Seventh-day Adventist operated school, we recognise God as the highest source of knowledge, truth, and power. The aim of true education is to restore all people to a relationship with God as shown to us by the life of Jesus Christ. Only through the guidance of the Holy Spirit can this relationship be completed. This kind of true education means far more than just academic knowledge. It promotes a balance in the development of the whole person–spiritual, physical, intellectual and social-emotional – a process that continues throughout your life. General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists
The General Conference coordinates the global ministry of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, a body set up under the belief that no man should be governed by the judgment of another, and any decision should be made by an assembly. The General Conference is responsible for the spiritual and developmental plans of the church around the world.
The mission of the Chinese Union of Seventh-day Adventists is Kingdom Growth. It is to call all people to become disciples of Jesus Christ, to proclaim the everlasting gospel embraced by the three angels’ messages (Revelation 14:6-12), and to prepare those living in our territories for Christ’s soon return.
